Author Brett Martin was recently honored by the Historical Society for his new book about the Old Saybrook Zanni family and their participation in WWII.  The book is a culmination of an extraordinary collaboration between Brett Martin and the Society.  It honors this particular Italian family in Old Saybrook who are emblematic of the many other American families who sacrificed so much during that war.  The book is on sale at the Society’s website as well as at the Spa in the Saybrook Point Resort & Marina, which helped fund the publication.
